In this hands-on, women’s-only workshop, Julie will teach you how to troubleshoot, wire, and connect like a pro! If you are a female sailor or cruiser who wants to gain confidence working with marine electrical systems and basic electronics, this class is for you. Sail and powerboat cruisers alike will build skills that will pay dividends for years to come. You’ll learn how to identify vessel wiring components, practice making seaworthy wire terminations, troubleshoot circuits with a multimeter, and get an introduction to GPS, electronic navigation, and communication systems. Safety and hands-on learning will be the top priorities, and no prior experience is required — even if you’ve never picked up a tool or played with a battery before!
