Ann has been sailing since the age of 7, developing a lifelong passion for being on the water. With over 20 years of sailboat racing experience, she has competed on both a 20-foot Pearson Ensign and on her family’s C&C 37. Together with her husband and their team, she achieved a seasonal class victory at Bristol (RI) Yacht Club in 2023.
Today, she and her husband enjoy single handing their C&C, combining years of racing experience with the rewards and challenges of short-handed cruising.
Professionally, she recently retired after a 47-year career in nursing, bringing decades of expertise, leadership, and a calm-under pressure mindset that translates naturally to life on the water.
She’s excited to share her sailing experiences and insights at this boat show educational session.
